Bio
Agustín Míguez (Santa Fe, Argentina, 1988). He studied Architecture and Economics at the National University of the Littoral. In 2024, he completed the Program for Artists at Torcuato Di Tella University. He complemented his academic training in Arts with a scholarship from AUGM at the University of the Republic (Uruguay) and in advanced programs alongside artists such as Cintia Clara Romero, Maximiliano Peralta Rodríguez, Fernando López Lage, Daniel Canogar, and Rafael Lozano-Hemmer, among others.
He exhibited his work in institutions and venues in Argentina, Uruguay, Spain, and the United States, including the Kirchner Cultural Center (CCK), Xposed Gallery (New York), the Recoleta Cultural Center, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Rosario (Castagnino+Macro), and the Bilbao Arte Foundation. Among his notable participations are the exhibition This is my place (2024) and the 76th National Salon of Rosario (2023).
He was awarded the MediaLab Prize by the Spanish Cultural Center in Buenos Aires (2022) and received the Creation Grant from the National Arts Fund, the Hybrid Grant, and support from the Andreani Foundation and the Bunge y Born Foundation, among others. He participated in residency programs such as Coordenadas and Curadora. Between 2018 and 2022, he coordinated the management and training platform Proyecto Trucha.
