While the Setúbal Group, its artists and their works have always caught my attention and I have found in their productions works that move me deeply, there are other artists from Santa Fe that touch my heart more deeply. The illustrations (or rather the prints) of Juan Arancio have the familiarity of the grandmother's living room, of the silences on the island; of the shelter, of the coast as a refuge. And also, the familiarity of spending afternoons with Sol, his granddaughter, in his patio watching him paint, calm and contemplative.

I start there, when the river is home. When the shore is the door to the riverbed and the riverbed the very becoming. When time is altered and the limits between fiction and reality are blurred. When the sun shines on us after the cold night and hope guides us to the horizon: becoming, growing, joy, freedom.
